Royal Minimalism: A Calm and Trusting Business Office

The Royal Minimalism office, designed by Chu-Hsin Tsai, is a testament to the power of simplicity and order in creating a harmonious workspace. With a focus on privacy and relaxation, this design aims to provide a serene atmosphere for business dealings.

The entrance hall of the office immediately sets the tone for the entire space. The wide and deep layout not only ensures the privacy of clients but also helps visitors feel at ease with the ample space. A reception counter, constructed with natural stones and adorned with light bands, adds a touch of elegance while reducing the visual weight of the structure. On the right side of the entrance, a comfortable waiting area with cozy sofas and carefully designed lighting fixtures enhances the warm ambiance of the space.

One of the unique features of this design is the individual working spaces for each employee. Inspired by petals and clouds, Chu-Hsin Tsai incorporates elegant arcs into the wooden desks, RPM glass screens, and other mechanical elements in the office. This thoughtful design allows for unexpected relaxation in a compact working environment.

The materials used in the realization of this design include woods, marble, and iron items. The combination of these elements adds a sense of solidity and professionalism to the overall aesthetic. With a total area of 3368 square meters, the office provides ample space for various activities and functions.

Across from the wave-patterned carpet in the entrance hall, a grand meeting room awaits. This space is designed to facilitate brainstorming sessions and important discussions. Thick wooden doors, partially-glass partitions, and spiral-patterned carpets define the spatial areas within the room. A long, specially-made meeting table and perfect presentation sets are available to meet the demands of high-end business meetings.

One of the main challenges in designing this office was creating a sense of order and independence while accommodating a high volume of visitors. The glass partitions that line the corridor, along with the same-sized glass partitions within the office, provide clear-cut spatial separation. This design allows for the emergence of independent working clusters, providing a respite from the fast-paced nature of business.

As a business office, the Royal Minimalism design reflects the calm and trusting virtues of the brand. The well-designed and independent office space exudes a sense of order, while the glass partitions create a clear separation between different areas. This design promotes a relaxed and productive working environment for employees, as well as instilling confidence in clients.

The Royal Minimalism office design, with its unique blend of minimalism and elegance, has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in 2016.
